Lamtuf Phenolic Asbestos Sheets are manufactured using heavy weave Asbestos cloth impregnated using phenolic resin with or without graphite graphite addition depending upon customers requirement. The principle feature of this material is its ability to operate at much high temperature than phenolic paper or cotton grade material. The material is used for wide varieties of bearing application & general mechanical components in high temperature situation. It is not recommended for primary insulation for electrical application at any voltage. This can be lubricated by almost any liquid including water/emulsion, chemical liquors or by conventional method using oil/grease or dry lubricants.

The graphite mixed phenolic asbestos sheet is better in lubrication as graphite is dispersed uniformly through out the structure to assert the lubrication under bounding condition.
